It’s that wonderful time of year again when Shawna Jean makes gingerbread houses for you all! Bring your family to the brewery between 1:00-3:00 on December 15 (2018) to make a gingerbread house with us!
Due to the large response last year, we are changing things up slightly to ensure we have enough houses on hand. This year you will need to purchase a refundable gingerbread house reservation for $5 per house.
When you show up at the brewery you can use that $5 towards anything at the brewery, or request a refund. There still will be no cost for the gingerbread house making. The $5 helps us ensure we make enough houses and reserve them for those who reserve ahead.
Purchase one $5 reservation per house you want to build:
Again, this is fully refundable in person from 1:00-3:00 on December 15 (show up, get your refund, or spend it). If you don’t show up, Shawna will use the $5 for a latte at Mountain Loop Books 🙂
If you have questions, let us know. We look forward to seeing you on the 15th!
The River Time Team is so happy to get to play in Darrington – the epicenter of the Best Place on Earth. We hope that you all are enjoying your Labor Day, as we are!
Beer is big business around the world. With Budweiser being a Belgian-owned company attempting to trick you into believing it represents the USA, and now a new Guinness brewery on the east coast, it can be difficult to tell where you money is going.
What you can be certain of is that seeing the Independent Craft Beer seal on a product means that the beer is made HERE in the USA, by an Independent company owned HERE in the USA.
Look for the seal, and support beer made here, by people who live here. You have over 6000 Independent Breweries to choose from, and River Time is one of them.
One thing we are in agreement with is what Guinness says on their web site:
“The U.S. is the world’s epicenter of beer innovation. American brewers excel at re-interpreting traditional styles and creating new ones. “
The 2018 Commemorative Glass (4th in the series) will be available for sale, beginning Friday, August 31st! As the name states, it is “appropriate” that it is a Mason jar!
Even if you haven’t been collecting the series, this is one worth having around for your favorite beverage! Straying from the rest of the series and our standard glasses, this one is laser etched to allow the artwork to stretch completely around the glassware. This gives a unique ‘sparkle’ effect to the words and logo.
River Time – always Beer At An Appropriate Pace!
It’s Brag Time(tm): We have an amazing team! Here you can see part of the team exhibiting one of our core values – having fun! If you look closely, you will even see our newest team member, Ayla Fox. We are so privileged to have such great people in the River Time family, and so privileged to have such great customers!
Check out our Values page for more about what we hold near and dear to us.
Many of you have heard already, but we’ve officially promoted “The Local”, Taylor, to the position of Assistant Brewer. Taylor still works hard to serve you beers and food in the brewery, but when we are closed to the public, you can find her working with Neil crafting new beers. Their first collaborations (named by Taylor) are on tap now. While they remain, come in and try The RaspBeery and the Wheet Wheet.
August 3, 2018 is International Beer Day!
“The purpose of IBD is threefold:
- To gather with friends and enjoy the deliciousness that is beer.
- To celebrate the dedicated men and women who brew and serve our beer.
- To bring the world together by celebrating the beers of all nations and cultures on this one remarkable day.
Raise your glass to celebrate the heroes behind each tasty brew. Cheers and Happy International Beer Day!”
These are all great purposes which we happily embrace! Come and celebrate with us!
